Description

The HD775 is a single-cylinder air-cooled vertical-shaft petrol engine from the Rehlko HD Series (formerly Kohler). It has 173 cc displacement and a gross torque of 10.5 Nm at 2,800 rpm, the figure the manufacturer uses to rate walk-behind mower engines. It is certified to CARB Phase III, EPA Phase III, EU Stage V.

The HD Series is a range of vertical-shaft single-cylinder engines based on commercial designs, with a cast-iron cylinder liner instead of aluminium for greater durability. No-prime starting (Smart-Choke, Easy-Pull), the Accu-Fill tank and longer oil and air-filter intervals reduce maintenance time.
