Description

The LDW 702 SD is a two-cylinder in-line marine diesel coupled to a sail-drive transmission, from Rehlko's Lombardini Marine range (formerly Kohler). It delivers 13.2 kW (18 hp) at 3,600 rpm.

The Sail Drive version couples the LDW (KDW-based) marine engine to a sail-drive transmission, the usual layout on cruising sailboats. The engine is fresh-water cooled via a heat exchanger with zinc anode, has an aluminium head, indirect injection and belt-driven timing, and the sail-drive kit is standard equipment.
