Description
The F1C NG is the natural gas version of the F1C and, according to FPT Industrial, the only engine of its kind dedicated to light commercial vehicles and minibuses. It uses stoichiometric combustion with multipoint injection, lowering fuel consumption and noise compared with an equivalent diesel.
- 100 kW (136 hp) output and 350 Nm of torque.
- No exhaust gas recirculation (EGR); water-cooled wastegate turbocharger.
- Simple after-treatment: three-way catalyst plus CPF.
- Runs on 100% biomethane with no modifications, according to the manufacturer.
Well suited to urban and distribution fleets targeting lower CO2 and pollutant emissions. Availability and configuration are confirmed on request.
