Description
The F28 is the most compact off-road engine in the FPT Industrial range, designed for machines where installation space is tight. The manufacturer describes it as delivering 3.4 l performance in a 2 l package. Its modular architecture shares a common base across diesel, natural gas and hybrid versions.
- Ratings from 37 to 75 kW, with up to 415 Nm (416 Nm in the power unit version).
- After-treatment matched to power: DOC (Tier 4 Final), DOC + DPF (Stage V below 55 kW), Compact HI-eSCR2 (Stage V above 55 kW).
- Single-side servicing and a 600-hour oil change interval.
- Applications: compact and specialty tractors, aerial lifts, telehandlers, pumps, welders, chippers, trenchers.
- Also offered as a pre-assembled industrial power unit (IPU) with cooling pack and air cleaner.
