Description
The F28 NG is the natural gas version of the compact F28 and shares its core components with the diesel engine. FPT Industrial presents it as the first agricultural engine in its class to run on alternative propulsion, with performance similar to the diesel version.
- Ratings of 55 and 75 kW, with up to 415 Nm of torque.
- Multipoint injection and aftercooled wastegate turbocharger.
- Simple three-way catalyst after-treatment.
- Runs on natural gas and biomethane; suited to specialty and small utility tractors and telehandlers.
Note: the manufacturer lists this engine as under development. Commercial availability is confirmed on request only.
