Description
The KDI 2504 TCR is a four-cylinder in-line liquid-cooled horizontal-shaft diesel engine from the Rehlko KDI range (formerly Kohler). With 2,482 cc displacement it delivers 55.4 kW (74 hp) at 2,600 rpm and peak torque of 300 Nm at 1,500 rpm. It is certified to EU Stage IIIB, EU Stage IV, EU Stage V, EPA Tier 4 Final.
The KDI platform was designed from a clean sheet to deliver high power and torque from a compact package: high-pressure common rail injection and electronic engine management control combustion precisely, so the engine can replace larger units without losing performance. The same platform is certified for markets worldwide.
