Description
The Cursor 9 is the 8.7-litre engine of the Cursor family for road transport, used in trucks and buses. Versions with an e-VGT turbocharger reach peak torque of 1,700 Nm from just 1,200 rpm, giving flexibility over a wide speed range.
- Ratings from 228 to 294 kW, Euro VI E certified.
- EGR-free architecture with regeneration-free HI-eSCR after-treatment.
- Oil change intervals of up to 150,000 km, according to FPT.
- Centrifugal blow-by system and electronic exhaust flap increase engine braking power, reducing brake pad wear.
A natural gas version, the Cursor 9 NG, is also available. We can quote the engine for repair, replacement or new integration projects.
