Description
The R38 is a compact industrial power unit supplied fully assembled with engine, radiator and air cleaner, for a small footprint and quick machine integration. The 3.8-litre engine uses a simple, robust mechanical injection pump and a turbocharger.
- Ratings of 55 and 65 kW at 2,500 rpm, with up to 320 Nm of torque.
- 17.5:1 compression ratio; four cylinders in line, two valves per cylinder.
- Single-side servicing for quick maintenance.
- Weight of 320 kg, per the official datasheet.
- Unregulated emissions version.
Suited to stationary or semi-stationary equipment for markets without emission rules. For generator sets, the R38 G-Drive is available.
